Won’t Forget Phuket
It was really nice to settle in Kamala for the last 6 days, and truly get to know the town and its people. After the first 2 days of walking the main road from my hotel to Scuba Quest to internet to Same Same, I became a familiar face. I'll especially miss the way the Thai people called out "Chaleeee!" as I passed.
After a short flight this afternoon, I found myself in the Bangkok airport for the 12th time in the past 2 months. But who's counting? I have 24 hours here before flying to India.

Great pix, Thai guy! Beaming with pride. Dripping with envy. Love, YGOP

Challeeeeeeeeeee!!! You might have 24 hours before flying to India, but I have 24 hours before hopping over to beautiful Trenton, New Jersey, so I can “make a difference.” And by beautiful, I mean it has actually become quite dilapidated, at least that’s what I’m told. Ergo, I plan to fix it by the time I leave this crazy state of gardens. Oh, and btw, did you-know-who (not Voldemort) leave a message? without contacting me once? look over whos messaged you and tell me if you know who im talking about…
October 18th, 2005 at 9:06 pmHowdy! Loved the underwater shots, great eels - my favs! Gotta get me a casing, too. Kinda hard leaving paradise? Funny that Al also commented on India’s sights and smells but sounds like you have a great new companion and local contact to steer you thru. Enjoy this next new journey and be kind to cows.
