Photos!
Oy. I spent the last 24 hours in Bangkok sorting through roughly 3,000 pictures from the past 2 weeks (Jamie's and mine combined). I've posted 130 or so: lots of scenery, lots of people, and - most importantly - lots of me. I'm bringing my laptop with me this time, so I should be able to post photos more frequently in Sri Lanka. Speaking of which - I have a plane to catch!

i just woke up at an ungodly hour to make the trek to my archtecture class and decided to read my charlie newspaper and was SO excited to find “130 or so” pictures waiting for me….charlie not only are you an awesome photographer (im kind of obsessed with taking pictures and would probably have gone crazy there) but it really looks like youre just having hte time of your life (obviously)…anyways, talked to teddy yesterday…made me miss all you guys and our last few weeks at home….remember lung?? that was the best game night ever…anyways, can’t wait to see what pictures sri lanka brings…stay safe, have an amazing time, and keep up with your massages…haha miss you tons!

“Wrong”
“Something’s wrong with the world today,”
said Mary Leah with dismay.
New Orleans is under water,
In Iraq there’s still a slaughter,
The Roberts hearings commence soon,
Japan got slammed by a typhoon,
The death of Rehnquist being mourned,
Nick started yoga, so be warned,
Miami’s football team sucks now,
Zack and Teddy at college, how?
TV’s “Gilligan” passed away,
Hewitt advances a round, yay!
Gas is now at an all-time high,
Martha Stewart is set free, why?
Saturn’s rings grow ever dimmer,
Last night I cooked a real dinner,
Lost Peru city was plundered,
Angry folks say FEMA blundered,
Egypt to elect President,
Crow, Armstrong to share residence,
“Lost” DVD of season one,
At VMA’s, music and guns,
P.Diddy dropped the “P,” big deal,
“Killers” killed, “Green Day” was unreal.
“But despite all of this,” she says

“I can’t help but think something’s wrong.
Oh, wait. I know. My Charlie’s gone…”
hi chew,
September 6th, 2005 at 3:33 pmthe pictures rock! the islands in the bay remind me of princess bride. oh, and the pictures confirm that no matter how far away you are, some things don’t change… like the fact that you’re still an adorable dork. ha ha but, really, it was a good cannonball.
thanks for sharing all these incredible adventures.
much love, and stay safe

Cuidate. Sra. H-E

September 6th, 2005 at 5:48 pmwow what a pleasant end to my day - i just finished watching agassi defeat blake in a five set tie breaking win (3-6, 3-6, 6-3, 6-3, 7-6) and then i get online and i get to see pictures of you! I’m not gonna lie, it made me a little sad, but thats okay because the pics were utterly fantastic and it was nice to be able to see your words in action. way to sport that hdub vball - makes me proud haha. by the way, as of this morning im seriously considering starting chinese next semester instead of picking up spanish. Do i smell a melvoin influence? maybe…no but really, im seriously considering it. Anyway, its bedtime for me over here in Ann Arbor. Ya know i thought i was having the best time in the world(and trust me, I am), but after looking at those pics I just dont think your adventures can be beat.
September 7th, 2005 at 10:55 pmSo it seems like Mary Leah has brought you up to date with the worlds doings and whatnot. Rhenquist died this weekend (I got an aol breaking news alert about it while I was at a fraternity party and of course i get everyone all flustered about it at 1 in the morning) New Orleans is in fact under water, but not to tread lightly on the situation, its actually a disaster. No jobs, no supplies, mass chaos basically. A few LA kids originally headed for Tulane have apparently enrolled in SMC for the semester. The UC system has apparently refused to take any stranded Tulane kids.
Harvard-Westlake started school today…weird!! Corso left to take the Cal women’s water polo job and football games will now be played at Pierce college under the “friday night lights.”
Alright, I’m writing a novel. I miss you. I love you. Dont eat any more dog, Dasher was a better friend to you than that.
