The smile is deceiving - that's one heavy pack! An hour away from driving to the airport, this is my last post in LA. Somehow my life managed to fit into that backpack. Thank you to everyone who stopped by or sent their best wishes - I will be thinking about you all constantly. 'Til next time....

Charlie my dear: here are some things I couldnt bring myself to say on the phone tonight when I got home from Spain because I thought I would “lose my cool”:

August 16th, 2005 at 12:44 amSo I wanted to say something inspiring for my first post on my new homepage, but it’s late, and I’m tired, so this is all you get. Miss you already! It’s weird going into your room and seeing things that you won’t use for 10 months (your wallet, for example - you should have probably put that in a drawer, but no worries, I got it covered).
I just made an ical calendar of where you’re going to be for the next 10 months, and I published it online so mom and dad just downloaded it (how cool?!) If you’re going to be using ical at all I’ll send it to you - although you’ll probably know where you are most of the time (that is if you don’t pop any pills with little happy faces on them.)
Hope you had a nice flight, call when you get a chance. Love you!
