The departure date is officially August 17 at 1 in the morning. I first fly to Bangkok and meet up with Rustic Pathways (the whole company is there right now to evaluate the summer trips and plan next years'). I'll spend 2 days organizing what little gear I have, adjusting to the time change and culture change, sightseeing...and then I'm off to Saigon, Vietnam the 19th....
